Michael Gardiner leads Microsoft’s digital transformation initiatives in the Canadian manufacturing industry. In his current role, he provides guidance on Industry 4.0 and helps manufacturers enhance engineering, operations, and services using Industrial IoT, Intelligent Cloud & Edge computing, and Artificial Intelligence.

For over 20 years, Mr. Gardiner has served manufacturers of all sizes who compete in the global automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, high tech, resources, and consumer goods industries.

Mr. Gardiner earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA. He has been registered as a Professional Engineer since 2000.
